Thank you kindly for all of your responses. Perhaps my first message never
made it out onto the list. I still have a copy of it and it was addressed to
linux-hams.. oh well. I now have quite a few paths to choose from and I will
investigate all of them over the weekend. I shall review my setup, take
everything I have been suggested into consideration, and post the results to the
list for the archives.
