Serial Baycom modem: use with a BBS?

Hello All,

I have been following this list for two months or thereabouts, and I haven't
seen any discussion on what has most probably been asked before.

Being on the bottom end of the AX25 learning curve, I have recently got the
basic AX25 features of Linux working okay with the baycom serial 1200 modem.
(Except for "mheard" - never shows any data.)

I would like to make use of the DPBOX BBS and related software, but I am coming
unstuck where I need to have a real TNC to attach to.

Could someone tell me if this is possible, and what I need to look into to do
it?

Many thanks,

Kevin Williams
