Phillip,
Forgive me for being thick, but how can this be MY fault?
I'm going to repeat myself now - the scenario is like this: (1) The Italian
station proposes to send me five bulletins, (2) my BBS says we'll accept one on
Hold, two are rejected and two we've already got, (3) the Italian station says
there's a protocol error here as five bulletins were proposed and my reply is
NOT five (which it is: 1H plus 2R plus 2- equals five).
I forward to a number of stations with the same setup and the Italian station
is the only one which disconnects me if there is an H in my reply. Of course I
can fwd full text or XFWD, of course I can purge my REJECT.SYS for any Holds -
that's not the point. I'd like to know how one station (also running FBB) can
get a protocol error when the others don't.

73, Per.
