Missing smdiag?

G'day,
I'm gradually collecting up all the patches, feature requests etc for
the new set of ax25 libs, tools and apps. I'm actually farming off the
list of things to do onto the Debian Bug Tracking System (BTS) so I
have a nice list.

Someone asked for smdiag. I think there was also some other associated
programs that came with this. Due to some reason which escapes me now,
I didn't include this program. So I have some questions.

Is smdiag and friends still required? Or is there other ways of doing
the same thing.

Are there other programs to be included with smdiag?

Where can I get the latest version of these programs? I'm assuming out
of the old ax25-utils package.
