Hi all,
Just a little note to let you know about some problems that can occur
easily
when using CLX. I have noticed here that I have been getting some
dupes. On
investigation, this was found to be coming from user links. CLX does
not seem
to see these dupes from user links and is is very simple to get a loop
forming.
User links are so useful that we tend not to think and just fire them
in to
nodes. Actually, these types of links need as much though (if not
more so)
than the standard passive and active links we use. Although CLX does
not get
upset with loops, it could start problems with our Pavilion chums.
The other
thing that can happen is problems with hop settings. Pavilion has a
bug that
resets the hop counter if a hop of 0 (zero) is sent. Pavilion then
resets this
to 255!!
I thought I would mention this to you all and let's see if we can keep
the
system clean of dupes.
