I just nailed the problem down to overly long announcements. I have not
found where exactly the limit is but an announcement message with 121
characters or more perfectly crashes the usr_req process. It crashes even
at the moment when the announcement is made and later, when CLX was
restarted, always when someone catches that specific announcement when
doing a SHOW/ANNOUNCEMENTS.

I got curious when I read in Max's data into my test installation and
first it would not crash with SHOW/ANNOUNCEMENTS. However, when I did
a SHOW/ANNOUNCEMENTS/50 it did.

Thanks for your help on this. We are trying to find a fix. Max, you better
send shorter announcements - you actually are part of the problem!
