hi matthew,
i checked the clx-code and i mean that set/alive works correctly. but
it is possible that AX25 in linux kernel don't transfer messages with
'\0'-byte only. please check your io.log if clx sends the alive-
character at all.
the other question is, whether your problem occurs only for set/alive
with a '\0'-character or also with other characters. please try - as
ben already wrote - "set/alive X" if the effect is the same.
