t-talk loop

Don't really know exactly what happened other than I had a major t-talk
loop going. I had a active connection (a-) to a packetcluster node using a
expect script to telnet into it. I had been connected for over a hour when
I decided to test out a t-talk message. I sent t kc5nwt you awake
from my ax25 connection to my cluster
Here is what my system sent out.
PC10^KJ5SF-9^AC4ET^you awake^*^KC5NWT^KJ5SF^~^M
Same thing was returned from the cluster I was connected to then boom
it was off to the races. About 50 of these went by before I could get it
shut down as I was remotely monitoring the syslog on the cluster machine
as it is now at a remote location. Just glad I was monitoring it because
I would have probably brought the whole cluster network to a halt with
about 5 to 6 of these a second going out. And they did actually go out
because I was using our club call kc5nwt on ac4et as a user.
Not sure what I have wrong here but for sure I have something that is not
right. There were no other connections to me when this happened. Just had
only the 1 active connection. The t-talks have worked fine over the ax25
port to another node before. Any idea's?
